Physics movie

Clip-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHDUHjv8GXU

We will be measuring our object, the hulk, falling from the helicopter that is above New York City.

Mass-
700g

Time-
2.96seconds

Acceleration-
Also we wanted to know how fast he accelerated. To do this we used the formula acceleration equals final velocity minus initial velocity divided by the time. Since the initial velocity is zero we did 36-0 and then divided 36 by the time, which is 3.60 seconds, and got 10 so his acceleration was 10m/s

Distance-
We also needed to find out the distance that he fell. We used the formula d=vt. d=36x3.60. this gave us the distance of 129.6m

Final velocity-
Vf=10t
Vf=10(2.96)
Vf=29.6m/s

speed-
s=d/t
s=129.6/2.96
s=43.78
